Sue Stuart: Ageing, Physical Activity and Class
It will explore the demographic, social, economic and perceptual changes in society and ageing. It will examine the perceived benefits of physical activity to the individual and to society and how these benefits may be inequitably distributed. It will consider the efforts of health promotion agencies to increase engagement with exercise and to extend health benefits.
Finally the paper asks questions about who should be the optimum target audience and what features should be considered in trying to reach those people.
